laughter is the best medicine…..

A Happy Face can lift anyone even in the midst of troubles.

I love watching comedy nowadays, I could not in the first year or two, but by year 4 i actively sought it out because I just had to lighten up.

Now I can watch Comedy shows but this is not for everyone, but it can be a wonderful release. We can be so wound up tight with challenges or with so many things to do. Feelings of being overwhelmed are common on this journey. So listening to a comedian can lighten your load.

I have gone through watching all sorts on You Tube. My latest great ‘find’ is Steve Harvey in Africa. He is so, so hilarious. One of my favourite moments is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jZjis-skxA

As I scroll down the internet history of what I watch, I see that I love mysteries, self development, the X-Factor, and many more. Have a look at what you are listening to and if it is something that triggers high emotion, stop watching it. The problem with grief is that so many things bring waves of emotion even for the strongest, it can be catching a glance at one of your children and you suddenly see his or her father looking back at you. Surround yourself with music that makes you smile!
